Introducing
TAIRNBACHER WINKIE
WOO 'A'Z' BSC.1
(R.I.P
2008)
After many years of fighting allergies and
associated problems and with the associated
treatments that eventually led to more
problems,, Karma was put to rest at age 9.
Karma's introduction to Leabashiba came about
thanks to her caring breeder Sandra Williams of
Tairnbacher Kennels, who rescued her back from
an abusive situation. Karma's nature was so
loving and trusting that she did not seem to be
affected from these early experiences.
Karma quickly became a family favourite, she
would snuggle up to you on your lap whenever the
opportunity arose, play games and be one of my
obedience demonstration dogs at our local social
obedience dog club. She had two litters in her
time before nearly dieing of Pyometra
(thankfully my vet was able to save her life for
she was just hours away from death)

During the second litter, she was asked to
foster two pups from another breeders litter as
they had far too many pups for their mother to
manage, Karma never objected, gave them a smell,
a lick and kiss and snuggled into them, where
they became one of her own.
Everyone that met Karma loved her and quoting a
fellow obedience instructors words during a work
out "she really loves you, has not taken her
eyes off you during the exercises" That was the
sort of German Shepherd Dog Karma was and we
shared a special bond.
Karma was our very first Breed Survey Class 1,
whose critique speaks for itself. I will forever
be indebted to Sandra for entrusting Karma with
us and we were very fortunate to have Tallis and
PK keep her presence alive for us, as they are
very much their mothers children
We miss you Karma and there is no denying when
you were created, He broke the mold.

The
highlights of Karma's breed survey, Mrs
Faye Stokes, states:
A medium
size (57.5cm), strong, substantial bitch
of very good type and proportions. Very
good feminine head and expression, dark
eyes. Stands and moves with high wither,
firm back, croup is short and steep.
Very good fore and hindquarter
angulation, very good length and lay of
upper arm, good broad thighs. Stands
correct in front. Steps correct front
and rear. Very good fore chest
development. During movement shows very
good reach and drive. Firm in character.
PARTICULAR VIRTUES AND FAULTS: A bitch
of very good type with very good length
and lay of the upper arm.

Karma
became gravely ill on Sept 4th 2003 with
Pyometra and has been desexed, her
qualities of a noble GSD do live on in

and all have gained their 'A'Z' status.
