Leabashiba Puppy Contract

This puppy is
believed to be in good health, but, you the purchaser are advised to
have the puppy checked by your veterinarian. This vet check and any
tests etc. associated with it are at your expense.
If your veterinary
surgeon finds any problem which, in his/her opinion renders the
puppy unfit for sale, I will take the puppy back and replace the
puppy with another Leabashiba puppy or refund the full purchase
price. This is on the condition that the puppy is returned within
seven days of the purchase date and is in the same state of health
as it was sold. This contract is void if the diet sheet and
information given to you at the time of sale o f puppy is not
followed.
Before purchase,
you should consider that a puppy is a living being which may become
a much loved family member in a short time, and this may affect what
you wish to do if return of the puppy becomes necessary. I cannot
be held responsible for distress or upset caused by the return of
the puppy after drawing your attention to this possibility.
I cannot be held
responsible if a disease develops later in life after a satisfactory
preliminary examination by your veterinary surgeon.
Hip and elbow
dysplasia:
I will replace the
puppy, or should a puppy not be available in a reasonable period of
time & as long as your puppy is castrated/speyed, with proof from
your veterinarian, you are welcome to keep your pet and a refund
will be given, if:
x-rayed by a competent
veterinarian, whilst between the age of twelve and eighteen months,
the dog fails to gain the ‘A’ AND ‘Z’ stamp, after submission of the
x-rays to the GSDCA National H.D registrar.

We take all care in
trying to breed the healthiest puppies possible, but we have no
responsibility for any inherited genetic disease that are not
recommended by the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia, have as
a compulsory pre-breeding test, under their C.O.E.
You understand that your puppy will
be placed onto Limited Register
of the the CCCQ until such time it is agreed that they should be
placed onto Main Registry, please refer to the CCCQ
Limited registry form for information, the puppy will also be
covered by the
NOT FOR EXPORT CCCQ agreement. These limitations are set in
place to protect the puppy. You also agree that you will keep in
contact and let us know how your puppy is developing, as we take so
much care with each one of our puppies, we do take great interest on
their development, health and well being, for life.

If for any reason the buyer can no longer keep the dog at
any point within the dogs life then, s/he is to be returned
to the seller or placed in a home approved the seller. The
buyer must notify the seller of their intent to return or
rehome the dog via registered mail, and the seller has 14
days from notification to exercise return policy. Should the
puppy be returned, the seller retains the exclusive right to
either keep the puppy or to find another home for the animal
at her discretion. The buyer will be refunded 50% of the
purchase price of the animal, less any costs incurred
including board, advertising, travel to a new owner and any
veterinary attention required to return the dog to full
heath. Upon return of the animal to the seller, all rights
to ownership of the dog by the buyer are to cease. If this
dog is found to have been sold or given away, the seller
retains to the right to take legal action at the cost of the
buyer to recover the animal. Under no circumstances shall
puppy be taken to an animal shelter, humane society or
released to a rescue group or another owner without the
prior written consent of the seller.

contract to your solicitor (at your expense) for your perusal, then,
in the case of flying your puppy to you, post back to us signed or
if you are collecting your puppy please bring this contract with you
